The boys do a lot of sport, and are quite active. They play rugby, tennis, football, go swimming. We go camping with the boys, and do a lot of outdoor activities. They also like making things, and reading.

Details: We own our own home, it is a 4 bedroomed detached house in a country village. Our au pair has her own nice bedroom, with a private ensuite, which is downstairs, and therefore quite private. We provide a computer with broadband internet access, a TV, and DVD for their private use in the room. The house is not huge, but we do have a very large garden, about 3 acres, which has a football pitch, trampoline, lots of play areas for the boys, and a swimming pool. Although it is in a country village, not a city, the village is very friendly, and out curent au pair has made lots of friends. It is about 4 miles to Evesham, 10 miles to Stratford Upon Avon, 15 miles to Worcester, and 25 to Birmingham. We are near a Train Station that goes directly to London and Oxford.

Our current au pair has also done other jobs, such as cleaning and babysitting for other people. In the next village to us is a tennis club., We need an au pair who is reliable, sensible, and fun.

We provide a car, and the au pair has sole use of that. They can use it for their own travelling if they wish, as long as they pay the extra petrol.

We have employed several au pairs before, and always had very good relationships with them, one stayed for two years, and one for one year. None have ever left early, and we have never had any problems.

There are several colleges near us which do English and other courses.

Wages and Hours Expected: £85 to £100 per week depending on age and experience for up to 35 hours per week & up to 2 evenings babysitting + accomodation full board, and paid english language course, own car 2 days off per week (Saturday & Sunday)

Au Pair Duties: The basic duties are getting the boys up in the mornings, getting them organized, and taking them to school. They start at 8.45. Then picking them up at 3.30, perhaps taking them to some clubs or to play at friends houses. Cooking them tea and doing some homework until me or my partner get home, sometime between 4 and 6pm. Babysitting once a week, and occasional babysitting (by mutual agreement) at weekends. There is no work other than that at weekends, the boys spend alternate weekends with their father. We do not need anyone to work the school holidays at all.
